Launch Event of MyErasmusCourse — A Day Full of Inspiration

On 18 November 2025 the official launch event took place at the European Commission Representation in Ireland, where teachers, school representatives, and educational professionals from all over Europe gathered to share their experiences with Erasmus+.

From the moment the first speakers took the floor, the atmosphere felt energizing. School representatives asked thoughtful questions to teachers who had participated in Erasmus+ mobility projects, and their stories were genuinely inspiring.

What stood out the most was the overwhelming positivity. Every teacher who spoke emphasized how much they had learned — professionally, culturally, and personally. According to them, it is an experience every teacher should have at least once in their career. The value of discovering new teaching methods, building international connections, and stepping outside one’s usual environment was highlighted again and again.

Of course, not everything is perfect. Several speakers pointed out one major challenge: the organisation of Erasmus+ trips can be complicated. In some schools, there isn’t even an Erasmus+ coordinator, meaning teachers must plan everything themselves — often outside of their working hours. Despite this difficulty, their enthusiasm for the programme remained undeniable.

After the event, we all crossed the street to a cosy bar just opposite the venue. Over drinks and some small bites, we continued the conversation in a more relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect way to end a meaningful day: connecting, sharing experiences, and celebrating a new chapter for MyErasmusCourse.
