Connecting Students Across MEC Schools

On 19th March, students from across our MEC schools will come together at Europa House for a special in-person event celebrating the theme “Ireland and Europe.”

This interactive afternoon will bring together students who are permanently based in EU countries and who may wish to benefit from Erasmus+ funding in the future. The event is designed to encourage connection, collaboration and cultural exchange in a relaxed and engaging setting.

What to Expect

The event will take the form of an Interschool Conversation Club, where students will:

  • Meet peers from other MEC schools

  • Share ideas and experiences

  • Explore opportunities for future study in Ireland

  • Learn more about Erasmus+ funding possibilities

Participants will be paired with students from different schools, giving everyone the opportunity to build new international connections.

Interactive Activities

The afternoon will include:

  • A fun quiz and guessing game to break the ice

  • Guided group discussions

  • A role-play activity exploring European perspectives

  • A short presentation on future study opportunities in Dublin and how Erasmus+ can support them
