  • Real-World Communication: Role-Plays & Simulations: Immersive activities including scenarios like negotiating deals, resolving conflicts, giving and receiving feedback, and navigating travel situations.
  • Active Listening & Note-Taking for Understanding: Strategies for effective listening in diverse contexts (e.g., news, interviews, lectures), identifying key information, and taking concise notes.
  • Writing for Everyday & Professional Needs: Practical writing skills covering emails, formal and informal letters, reports, and short descriptive pieces, with emphasis on clarity and appropriate tone.

Course Outline

This course is for students who wish to comprehensively improve their overall level of English. It covers all facets of the language, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with particular emphasis on spoken communication skills. During the classes, you will be put into real life situations such as job interviews, negotiation, cultural debates, etc. This gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the language and develop the practical skills necessary to use English in the wider world.
