The Linguaviva Centre

overview

The Linguaviva Centre are founder members of Quality English and Marketing English in Ireland and are, in fact, the oldest English language school in Dublin, founded in 1977. We aim to offer a truly personalised service in our boutique premises. For that reason, our motto is ‘Proud of our Past, Focused on Your Future’.

Our team is highly trained (post graduate teaching qualifications) and has ample experience training Overseas Teachers to maximise student engagement and integrate 21st century skills in their teaching.

Our Erasmus + programs are offered throughout the year and are aimed at those teachers looking to improve their current skills or ‘brush up’ an area of their teaching portfolio

We run ‘CLIL and Communication for Secondary School Teachers’ Refresher Courses, ‘Cultural Heritage: From The Goden Age of Irish Art to The Celtic Tiger’ Courses. We also run ‘CLIL& Communication for Primary School Teachers’ courses.

We are an accredited centre for Trinity Cert TESOL. Our Teacher Training Team train teachers for this worldwide recognised qualification year round.

In summer 2026 we have a new edition to our courses, in cooperation with Foyle International we are running Cultural Heritage: Two Cities: Many Stories which takes place in Dublin in the first week, with the second in Derry in the North of Ireland and compares the cultures and traditions both north and south of the border.

Our experienced Booking Team will take care of all application requests pre-arrival and our Academic Team will complete Europass Mobility documents as needed. These documents are generated by the sending organization i.e. the school of the course participants.
